On April 12, 2023, Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Vladimir Gusakov and Chairman of the Board of the Skolkovo Foundation Igor Drozdov met.
During the talks, a range of promising areas of cooperation between the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Foundation, as well as mechanisms for their implementation, were discussed. As Vladimir Gusakov noted during the meeting, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus attaches special importance to the development of cooperation with Russian organizations. "Today we are actively cooperating with a number of scientific centers of the Russian Federation and regions. Russia is a priority for us. We have to work together. But the main thing, as our President emphasizes, is efficiency. So that there would be benefits for the economies of the two countries. Therefore, we will support cooperation in a broad way," Vladimir Gusakov stressed.
In turn, Igor Drozdov, Chairman of the Board of the Skolkovo Foundation, noted that they are ready to actively cooperate in a number of areas, but are particularly interested in such areas as microelectronics and unmanned aerial vehicles. The guests got acquainted with the latest developments of scientists at the permanent exhibition Achievements of Science for Production. The program includes a visit to the Institute of Physics named after B.I. Stepanov of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the United Institute of Informatics Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
